The word dinner is from the old French “disner”, meaning breakfast.  At the time of the First French empire, dining would take place as late as seven in the evening. Whether you have arrived early or late, you will be treated to a culinary tour de force. There are our staples like bread, cheese and coffee. Then of course there are culinary delights such as Quinoa Salad, served with either Braised Chicken, Flank Steak or Jumbo Tiger Shrimp, or our Le Steak Frites Salad Cafe De Paris, and of course our Duck Poutine, served with Home-Made Duck Confit, Curd Cheese and Duck Gravy.  Dinner is usually the name of the main meal of the day.  A time when family and friends ather around a table to partake in good food and share the day’s happenings, discuss politics, good books and celebrate special occasions over a glass of wine! About Our Menu The Artisan Baker menu is French inspired with the fresh appeal of the local market. It represents a unique blend of art and science with creative offerings designed to excite and surprise the palate.  We use natural cooking techniques to let the natural flavours shine through. A benefit to this style is that our menu items are naturally lower in calories. The result is great tasting, highly satisfying food that is good for you.
